Member Gatherings are a way for all the members of Family Social League to
get together in a casual atmosphere and enjoy each other's company. Member Gatherings are open to all current members
as well as their guests who may be interested in joining. They are also open to members who have not yet joined
and would like to get more information about FSL. Family Social League has some fun events planned for the 2008-2009
year.
As much as we don’t want
to think about it -winter is coming. One of the things to look forward to is the Annual FSL Holiday Party. The
holiday party will be on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at 7:30 PM at Kim Gantous’ house.
Ladies dig out your baby pictures for a fun game. We will also be
having a White Elephant gift exchange. The premise of the game is that each guest contributes one gift to the game,
and ultimately each guest walks away with one different gift from the game. The type of gift should be something less
than $10, a used item from home or a gag gift. A donation of a brand new, with tags still attached, teddy bear will
also be collected at the party to donate to a local
hospital for all those children who will be spending some time there
during this holiday season. A separate invitation will be sent to all members with final details and RSVP information
in early November.
On Friday, January
16th, 2009, we will be having a women’s self defense class. The self defense class will be at Tracy’s
Karate Studio on Aurora Road in Solon, OH. The class will go from 7:00 until 8:00 PM for only $10. This will be
a perfect opportunity for you to learn those all important defense techniques that we should all know. Please RSVP to
